EDMONTON — Members of the Canadian Culinary Federation of Edmonton visited Jubilations dinner theatre kitchen in West Edmonton Mall to take part in a sugar workshop and learn from executive chef Jason Wild.

“Sugar isn’t the easiest medium to work with,” said chef Jason Wild. “But with some patience and some practice you can definitely make something you can be proud of.” twentyone

About a dozen participants learned how to create pieces such as flowers out of melted sugar.

The federation’s next workshop, called Plating like a Pro, takes place at NAIT on April 16.
