EDMONTON — Four teams remain undefeated after Tuesday night’s action at the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships at Jasper Place Curling Club.
Draw three saw Nova Scotia, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba move on to 3-0 records.
Nova Scotia was able to beat the host team (our city’s own Jasper Place Curling Club) to increase their record to 3-0.
Though the Jasper Place Curling Club did take the lead during the middle frames, they were unable to keep Nova Scotia from scoring in the last two frames, with four in the eighth and two in the ninth.
Jasper Place curling club is currently sitting with 1-2 record.
It was also a successful night for British Columbia, who were able to score in sixth of the first seven frames after a four point frame in the first.
The final score ended up being 10-1 British Columbia, which moved their team to a 3-0 record. This loss was bad news for Newfoundland/Labrador who’s losing streak has extended to three games in a row.
Alberta was able to keep it’s momentum going from the first two draws to push their score to 3-0. This worked against the opponents Quebec who now have a 0-3 record moving into draw four. The final score was 6-2 Alberta.

Saskatchewan was also unable to get that first win of the championship in draw three, they are still 0-3. This meant Northern Ontario was able to get their first win to bring their record to 1-2. The final score was 11-4 Southern Ontario after a big five-point fourth frame.
Finally, we had Ontario taking on Manitoba. The game was tied up at 5-5 in the fifth frame, but Ontario was unable to score after that. The final score ended up being 9-4 Manitoba. This brought Manitoba’s record to 3-0 while Ontario stayed at just one win with a 1-2 record.
