Spring Break travel plans, find the travel agencies in west Edmonton.

EDMONTON- Edmontonians have been whining about the frigid weather all winter long.  While some are able to brave the forecast and gloomy weather statistics, others are dialing up their travel agents to book some sun.

Roland Van Meurs is the travel manager at AMA Travel in west Edmonton.  The cold snap from November to January in Edmonton has been especially cold and long making for a busy year in travel said Van Meurs.

The rate of travel to tropical destinations has picked up since 2010, slowing down slightly in February, and now the agency is busy again for spring break according to Van Meurs.

The internet savvy may be more likely to book online, but for those who want to sit down with an agent, check out the map of agencies in West Edmonton.
