EDMONTON — Everyone’s favourite West Edmonton hyperlocal news source has recently stumbled upon a couple of tickets to MacEwan’s production of Vernon God Little.

So what should we do? Should we selfishly keep the tickets for ourselves, or is a contest in order? We are inclined to hold a contest, so…

Contest rules:

A big part of the show’s production is the set design, which includes various signs found on Google.

So get out and explore the World Wide Web and find your favourite street sign, church sign, restaurant sign, or any other sign you can find. Or better yet, come up with your own.

Once you’ve found, or come up with, a sign that you are sure will impress a jury of your peers, submit it in this article’s comment section, bring it to our attention on Twitter (@WestEdLocal), or post it on our Facebook wall under this story.

The winner will be selected by Grant MacEwan’s second-year journalism class on Monday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., and will be posted in this story shortly afterward. The tickets are for the Dec. 7 performance at 7:30 p.m.

Keep it clean, people!

Many thanks to the MacEwan theatre arts program for letting us give away these tickets. If you’re not a contest person but you’d like to see the play, you can buy them from Tix on the Square.
